Recipes, tastes, cookbooks at Monday Genealogy meeting By Mike Watson The next regular meeting of the Adair County Genealogical Society is fast approaching - Monday, May 1, 2023 at 5pmCT. This meeting will be a bit different from the normal: "Recipes and Cookbooks as a Window into Our Heritage." We will examine the art and imagery of cooking. An array of local cookbooks will be available to examine. No "presentation" this time, just browsing, discussing, and tasting a few samples of foods - some with odd names and/or ingredients. There will be an international flair as well. So come out on the 1st for a different style of gathering! Feel free to bring recipes to share; we will have a few to share with you as well. Everyone is invited. For more information: adairgenealogy@gmail.com; 270-380-1024; any of our Facebook sites, or drop by the Adair Genealogy & History Research Center, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728.
