Youth All-Stars bring home First Place honors and qualify for Nationals Damons CTA/Columbia (Cheerleading & Tumbling Academy) Youth All-Star Predators attended the Bluegrass Regional Cheerleading Competition in Richmond on November 18th at Madison Central High School. "It was their first competition of the year," Damon Hicks said, "and the main goal was to get critiqued, get experience, and have fun!" They did that plus, captured a 1st place trophy and qualified to go to the UCA Nationals, held in Orlando, FL., March 10-14, 2006. When asked how they felt when they finished their routine, the girls said, We did it and we feel grrreat! Said Hicks of his teams accomplishments, I am very proud of these girls, they are a beginner squad, and they have worked really hard to put on a great first show, and it will only get better! The Youth Predators next competition will be December 10, 2005, at Adair County High School in Columbia.
