Free Tipping May 19 and 20

The Adair County Fiscal Court's much anticipated Free Tipping event--where the residents of Adair County may dispose of unwanted items and materials--has been set for Friday, May 19, 2023 and Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Mid-State Transfer Station, L Willis Rd, Columbia KY. (Go past Wal-Mart, first road on left, after you go over the Louie B Nunn Pkwy).
  • Friday, May 19, 2023 from 7amCT to 3pmCT
  • Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 7amCT to 11amCT
Items that will not be accepted: Tires/Hazardous/Dirt (Silage Plastic), Wet Drywall, Manure, Dead Animals, Concrete, Rocks, Stacks of lumber, Steel cables, Burning Barrels, Capacitors, Tanks (acetylene, oxygen, propane).

Paint will be accepted only if it has been dried with either sand and/or cat litter. Residents bringing large loads must help unload them.
