One week left to request Absentee Ballot by mail From Lisa Greer Adair County Clerk The Absentee Ballot portal for the May Primary Election opened on April 1, 2023, and will close on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Please note that you must meet criteria as outlined in KRS117.085 to request a mail out Absentee Ballot. The best way to request that an Absentee Ballot be mailed to you is at the Kentucky Secretary of State's web site, sos.ky.gov. If you don't have access to an computer with internet service, you can call the Adair County Clerk's Office at 270-384-2801 during normal business hours. Voters are highly encouraged to cast your ballot as soon as you receive it, and return it as quickly as possible. Do not delay! Ballots must be received by 6pmCT on May 16, 2023 in order to be counted. They may be mailed, or can be dropped in the Ballot Drop Box at the Adair County Clerk's Office, 424 Public Square, Ste3, Columbia, KY, during normal business hours, Mon-Fri 8amCT to 4pmCT, Saturdays 8amCT to 11amCT, and on Election Day from 6amCT to 6pmCT.
