ELECTION 2006: Two Adair Countians have filed for District 29 Judge

Judicial District 29 includes Adair and Casey Counties. Former Representative Tom Barlow, Democrat, has filed for party's nomination for Kentucky's 1st Congressional Seat now held by Ed Whitfield
Michael Loy, 206 Cardinal Drive, Columbia, KY was the first candidate to file for the 29th District Judgeship, and now, a second Columbia attorney, Judy D. Vance, 1568 KY 768E, Columbia, KY, has also filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State for the same position.


If no one else files in the race, it will be on the November, 2006, General Election ballot. If at least one more enters the race, the candidates will be on the May, 2006, primary ballot, with the top two vote-getters advancing to the November General Election.

Former Representative Tom Barlow files for First District Congressman

Former U.S. Representative Tom Barlow, Paducah, a Democrat, has filed for his party's nomination in the First Congressional District. He is seeking the seat now held by Republican Ed Whitfield.
