Carrie Dimple Thornton, 78, Taylor County, KY

Carrie Dimple Smith Thornton, age 78 of Campbellsville passed away Friday, April 14, 2023. She is survived by three sons: Dwayne Thornton of Greensburg and Dale and Chris Thornton of Campbellsville, two daughters: Angela Alexander of Phenix City, Alabama and Karen Brown and Joseph of McKinney, Texas,


one sister: Betty Hazard, two brothers: Jim Smith (Terry) of Aurora, Illinois and Jerry Smith (Bonita) of Hephzibah, Georgia, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Carrie Dimple Thornton will be 11amET Friday, April 21, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Campbellsville. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in the Summersville Community of Green County. Visitation will be from 9 until the funeral hour at the church.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the First Baptist Church of Campbellsville or to The Alzheimers Association. These can be made at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg or at the church.
