Genealogy & History Research Center second anniversary plans

From Mike Watson

The Adair Genealogy & History Research Center is fast coming upon the second anniversary of the first day open--19 April. It is hard to believe this will be two full years of activities here--nearly 50 history/genealogy meetings and/or classes, nearly one thousand visiting researchers, several thousand email and face book and telephone questions answered.

On the morning of Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 9amCT until 11amCT, we invite anyone who hasn't visited us to date--and of course anyone who has been here to visit or research--to visit the Research Center for a guided tour of the collections.

Certainly everyone is welcome anytime we are open, but this morning will be devoted to touring--and research!

While here on this morning, register for a special presentation--a local history/genealogy book give-a-way and also for a specialized genealogy session with one of our three on-staff genealogists. We will select the fortunate two recipients after lunch that day and contact you quickly.

So, come see us on the 25th, or any day! --Ernie, Phil and Mike
