Sammy Gene Smith, 55, Cumberland County, KY Sammy Gene Smith, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 having attained the age of 55 years. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2pmCT in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville with Bro. Jimmy Stephens and Hershel Cyphers officiating. He is survived by his step-mother, Phyllis (Garrett) Smith of Burkesville, Kentucky, children, Dasya Jon Smith of Somerset, Kentucky, Sammy Donn Smith of Burkesville, Kentucky, sister, Pam Linnett (Smith) Kirk of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchild, Casper Jace Harmon, ex-wife, Donna (Smith) Nuszbaum of Albany, Kentucky, along with other family members and many friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023 after 12noon till the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Cumberland County, Ky.
