Lindsey Wilson College honors veterans at alumni luncheon

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College National Alumni Association honored area veterans, their spouses and widows at the third-annual Veterans Appreciation Luncheon, held last Wednesday in the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center.


More than 80 area residents turned out for the luncheon, which was held for the second consecutive year. The keynote address was given by Columbia resident George Kolbenschlag, a retired commander of the Navy.
