Carlotta Keltner, 69, Stanford, KY (1953-2023) Carlotta Lone Keltner of Stanford passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was 69 years old. Graveside services will be held at 2pmCT on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Columbia Cemetery, with Bro. Daniel Nissley officiating. She was born in Somerset, KY on November 14, 1953, to the late Robert "Bobby" and Joyce Neal McGowan Keltner. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Phillips and her stepmother Laverne Gaskin Keltner. Mrs. Keltner was a member of the Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY. She was a 1971 graduate of Adair County High School and continued her education at Lindsey Wilson College before attending Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and finishing up at Western Kentucky University. Carlotta was a Registered Nurse having a career that span over 42 years. She started with Westlake Regional Hospital and later worked at University of Louisville Hospital, University of Cincinnati Hospital, and the University of Colorado Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, music, watching movies, reading, especially her bible, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children, Ashley Norvell (Martin) of Corbin, KY and Corey Rogers of Columbia, KY; a sister Bridget Singleton (Jeff) of Stanford, KY; two stepsisters Linda Kelley (Joe) of Campbellsville, KY and Kathy Nissley (Daniel) of Columbia, KY; a stepbrother Paul Helm (Dana) of Columbia, KY; two grandchildren Abbey Norvell of Lexington, KY and Parker Norvell of Corbin, KY; two nieces Brittany Sandusky (Craig) of Columbia, KY and Kelsey Singleton (Mark Eldridge) of Stanford, KY and several other nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
