Golf: LWC Men win 7th tournament The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team won its seventh tournament this season capturing the team title at the Blue Raider Invitational at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. The Blue Raiders posted a 30-under par 538 (270-268) on the par-71 6,598 yard course. The 16-under par score matches the second-lowest round by Lindsey Wilson this season. Lindsey Wilson finished 31 shots better than runner-up Lawrence Tech. Cumberland (Tenn.) finished third with a 579. Lindsey Wilson had six golfers finish in the top 10 on the individual leaderboard. Rio Saigal took home the individual title with a 9-under par 133 (68-65). Saigal's 65 his is lowest round score in his career. He carded 12 birdies over the two rounds and was 7-under par on par-5s which both led the tournament. Janik Hawlitzky finished runner-up with a 134 (68-66). Hawlitzky recorded nine birdies and one eagle in the tournament. Callum Waugh finished third with a 135 (65-70), Sebastian Sandin was fourth with a 136 (69-67) and Ivan Ninkovic tied for fifth with a 139 (69-70). Frederik Strand completed the best finish by an individual for the Blue Raiders, finishing tied for seventh with a 140 (69-71). Briley Sharpe 146 (75-71), Linus Doverfors 146 (71-75), Evan Kidd 146 (70-76), Alfie Yearsley 147 (69-78), Shane Henderson 148 (73-75), AJ Shagool 152 (74-78), Adam Rogers 165 (85-80), Jarrett Napier 170 (86-84) and Chase Carpenter 193 (95-98) also competed as individuals.
