Marshall Bean, 74, retired Electromotive worker, dies in Illinois Mr. Bean was retired after 30 years with Electromotive Division of GM in Chicago. He will be buried with military honors by VFW POST 6097 Marshall Bean, 74, 9306 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Columbia, KY, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 12, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., CST, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. He was the son of the late Holland and Anne Rowe Bean of Adair County, KY. He is survived by his wife, Bina Marcene Hoover Bean, Campbellsvile, KY, and the following:
He was retired after 30 years with Electromotive Division of GM in Chicago, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. The family asks to please omit flowers and prefers memorials to P.A.W.S. or Diabetes Research. Visitation wil be after 1:30 p.m., CST, Friday, November 11, 2005, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
