James (Jimmy Mack) Hendrickson, 78, Adair Co., KY native (1945-2023) James Alfred Garfield "Jimmy Mack" Hendrickson departed this life Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 78 years old. The funeral service will be held at NoonCT on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court St., Greensburg, KY, with Rev. David Mitchell, Eulogy, Rev. Morrisdine Williams, Master of Ceremony. Burial will follow in Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville Community of Green County. Visitation is requested on Saturday from 10amCT until the funeral hour at NoonCT. James Alfred Garfield Hendrickson was born January 27, 1945, in Adair County, KY to the late William Oscar and Martha Lee Hendrickson. He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of 2nd Christian Church of Columbia, KY. He retired from Fruit of the Loom and worked at Cox Interior. Mr. Hendrickson was well liked by everyone. He never met a stranger. He loved his family, tractors, music and dancing. He was always smiling and pleasant. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister: Annie Mae Turner and four brothers: Amos, Joe, Paul and Robert Hendrickson. He is survived by his wife: Emma Jane Hendrickson, whom he was united in marriage to on July 3, 1971, two children: Tamara Liverman and her fiance: Jesse Harness, JR, of Radcliff, James Shawn and Tody Hendrickson of Greensburg, four sisters and one brother-in-law: Mattie Hardin, Sarah Jackson, Naomi Embry, Ada Duncan (Joseph), two brothers: John R Hendrickson (Ella Berry) and Walter Hendrickson (Saundra), six grandchildren: JaVontae Atkinson, Joey Liverman, Alexus Hendrickson, Gabby Hendrickson, Lauren Hendrickson, and Mercy Embry, two great grandchildren: Zayleigha Atkinson and Layton Liverman. Pallbearers: Tim Embry, Roy Jr Embry, Chad Embry, Michael Embry, Tyrell Embry and Owen Hendrickson Honorary Pallbearers: William Milby, Charles Dudley, David Lee Haskins, Sonny Shively, Cameron Newby, JaVon Embry, Jordan Embry, John R. Hendrickson, Walter Hendrickson, Paul Allen Mitchell Flower Girls: Susan Hendrickson, Shavonia Jackson, Sheila Embry, Melissa Embry, Torri Embry, Lashea Newby, Jessica Embry, Tia Embry, Teresa Maddox, Zannie Anderson, Martha Hendrickson, Judy Williams Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
