Winter Weather Advisory through Wednesday morning

The National Weather Service in Louisville issued the following Winter Weather Message at 3:17pmET Tuesday, January 31, 2023:

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6amCT on Wednesday. Another round of mixed wintry weather is expected this evening and into the overnight period. Snow/sleet accumulations of up to an inch are expected. Some ice glazing is also expected across the advisory area, which includes Adair County and all surrounding counties. Somewhat higher ice accumulations are expected across southern Kentucky where up to a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation will be possible.

Drivers should expect slippery road conditions this evening and into the overnight period. The Wednesday morning commute may also be negatively impacted.
