Winter Weather Advisory Tue morning and Wed night

At 3:12amET on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, the National Weather Service issued the following winter weather advisories for an area of South Central Kentucky that includes Adair, Cumberland, Metcalfe and Russell Counties.

The first Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until NoonCT today. For the first Winter Weather Advisory, expect mixed precipitation. Additional snow and sleet accumulations of less than once inch and total ice accumulations of up to two tenths of an inch.

A second Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 5pmCT this afternoon to 6amCT on Wednesday. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, another round of mixed precipitation is expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations less than one inch and ice accumulations of around a tenth of an inch.
