Light wintry mix possible Monday night through Tuesday Mike Keltner, Director, Adair Co. Emergency Management sends this update on the potential for wintry weather tonight and tomorrow. The National Weather Service in Louisville's latest predictions are that we'll be seeing a chance at light wintry precipitation over the next 24-30 hours in the area. A round of light wintry precipitation is expected to begin later this evening, lasting through midday Tuesday, mainly south of the I-64 corridor. A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected across Kentucky, with potential ice accumulations of a glaze to around a tenth of an inch. This could cause some slick spots, especially on bridges, overpasses, and elevated surfaces. This story was posted on 2023-01-30 07:10:19
