Hazel Fawcett, 91, Campbellsville, KY (1931-2023) Hazel Jeffries Fawcett of Campbellsville died at 10:40 P.M., Friday, January 27, 2023 in Glasgow. She was 91 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Danny Pace. Burial will follow in Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from NoonET until 1pmET on Tuesday January 31, 2023. Hazel Jeffries Fawcett, daughter of the late Cosby Jeffries and Omie Bagby Jeffries, was born February 7, 1931 in Green County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. Hazel retired from Fruit of the Loom and later babysat for several children of school teachers. She united in marriage to William Earl Fawcett February 21, 1947. He preceded her in death April 9, 2006. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and often spent time assisting her grandchildren after the birth of their babies She is survived by one son and one daughter: Bill Fawcett of Campbellsville and Betty Gay Norris and husband, Ray of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Lorie Morel of Crossville, Tennessee, Debbie White, Connie (Hamoud) Alrodan, and Chad (Sharonda) Fawcett of Glasgow and Lynde Fawcett Landis (Richie Zuniga) of Campbellsville; fourteen great-grandchildren: Hunter Morel, Blake Morel, Keller Morel, Heather Hagan, Brittany Hagan, Shayka Alrodan, Sara Alrodan, Allia Alrodan, Jenna Alrodan, Rodan Alrodan, Zach Fawcett, Will Landis, Knox Landis and Tori Zuniga, seven great-great-grandchildren: Skye Milby, Floyd Hagan-Alford, Hailey Hagan-Alford, Bradyn Hagan-Alford, Brody Hagan-Alford, Bridgett Hagen- Alford and Brooklyn Hagan-Alford; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Hazel was preceded in death one sister and six brothers: Orvella Moss, Cloyd Jeffries, Noble Jeffries, Coleman Jeffries, Austin Jeffries, Otis Jeffries and Cosby "Dick" Jeffries. Pallbearers: Chad Fawcett, Zach Fawcett, Blake Morel, Hunter Morel, Keller Morel, Ray Norris Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Memorial Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
