Lindsey Wilson group promotes awareness of Constitution PhotosJane Baxter Jones, Susan Lewis accompany this article Members of the Lindsey Wilson College community gathered in on Tuesday morning, November 1, 2005 in the atrium of the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center to read aloud the U.S. Constitution. The event's purpose was to create a greater awareness of the Constitution among members of the college community. The event, which was organized by Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Jane Baxter Jones, featured more than 30 faculty, students, staff and retirees of the Lindsey Wilson community. Copies of the constitution were also distributed to Tuesday's lunch diners at the dining center. It took about 62 minutes to read the entire document out loud.
