Yo-Yo Ma to perform with Louisville Orchestra at Mammoth Cave

Mammoth Cave National Park is partnering with the Louisville Orchestra to present a historic musical performance by Teddy Abrams and the Louisville Orchestra with special guest Yo-Yo Ma at 11amCT and 3pmCT on Saturday, April 29, 2023, in the cave, in a large open area known as Bunker Hill.

The performances will feature music inspired by and composed especially for Mammoth Cave by Musical Director of the Louisville Orchestra Teddy Abrams.

According to Recreation.gov, the concert will "celebrate how the grandeur and fascination of our natural environments, like caves, and deep human histories can inspire creativity for the artistic world and reach new audiences."

Due to high demand, tickets are awarded using a lottery system. The lottery will be open from Monday, January 30 to Tuesday, February 7, 2023, through Recreation.gov.
