Homemakers Cultural Arts Competition starts Mar 9

The Adair County Homemakers Cultural Arts Competition will begin on Thursday, March 9, 2023. The competition features twenty-seven different categories of handcrafted items, from beading, to ceramics, sewing, drawing, painting, and much more. There is a competition category for all sorts of talents.

The competition is free, but competitors must be Adair County Homemaker Members. The fee to join Homemakers is $12 and can be paid at the Extension Office. The Homemakers organization is open to anyone.

  • March 9, 2023: Entry Day
  • March 10, 2023: Judging & Viewing
  • March 13, 2023: Entry Pickup
  • March 16, 2023: Area Competition
  • May 9, 2023: State Competition
