Col. Wm. Casey Elementary gets education about fire safety

The Columbia Volunteer Firefighters visited Col. Wm. Casey Elementary on Tuesday, October 25 to offer helpful fire safety tips for students and teachers there. Casey Principal Patty Jones said, "Not only did the firemen teach the students fire safety, they also demonstrated the new ladder truck."

Some members of the faculty also enjoyed being taken up in the bucket of the new fire truck.

Mrs. Jones said, "They did a fantastic job that was very much appreciated by all of thestudents and staff at Casey!"
