New Caution Light installed at KY 206/Green Hills Road intersection

ColumbiaMagazine.com Editoral: Thanks, Governor Fletcher, Commissioner Williams, Mayor Bell and Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Intergovernmental Affairs Hardwick. End, editorial.
Adair County Highways are a little safer today
One week after Kentucky Highway Commissioner Marc Williams was shown the need for a caution light at the intersection of KY 206 and Green Hills Road intersection, the light was installed.

Former Mayor Curtis Hardwick, a Special Assistant to the Commissioner of Intergovernmental Affairs, and current Columbia Mayor Patrick R. Bell, pointed out the need for the light to the Commissioner on the same day the Commissioner gave a speech to the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce at Cranmer Dining Center, Lindsey Wilson College.

The caution has flashing yellow lenses for the lanes on Highway 20 and a red flashing stop light for Green Hills Road.

The intersection has been the site of several bad accidents and was thought to be the most dangerous intersection in Adair County before the caution light was installed.
