Estlene Corbin, 72, retired Casey and ACHS cook

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home for Estlene Corbin who passed away Monday after an illness. She was the widow of Gail Corbin.She was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired cook with the Adair County School System, having worked at Col. Wm. Casey Elementary and at Adair County High School.

The daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Lenor England Gibson, she is survived by:
  • Three daughters and their spouses: Dianna and Ronnie Towles of Louisville, Donna and Chris Jensen of Breeding, Darlene and Larry Blakley of Louisville

  • Two brothers: Kenneth Gibson of Louisville and Billy Gibson of Indiana

  • One sister: Leoda Reece of Campbellsville, a sister-in-law, Nova Cobrin of Columbia

  • Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, Bedford and L.W. gibson and Helen Diane Gibson.

Bro. Ray Smith and Bro. Ashley Shuffett will officiate at the Wednesday afternoon service with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visittion is after 2 p.m. today, Tuesday.
