Danny Dale Suratt, 66, Green County, KY family (1956-2022)

Danny Dale Suratt, formerly of Greensburg, son of the late Oscar Norman Suratt and Mattie Jewell Wright Suratt, was born on Friday, February 10, 1956 in Taylor County and departed this life on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 66 years, 10 months, and 19 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was retired from various maintenance positions.



Survived by his wife of 48 years, Pamela Rose Milby Suratt of Nelson County, having united in marriage on February 21, 1974.

Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Charlotte Suratt of Greensburg; a daughter and son-in-law: Amanda Nicole and Greg Johnson of Bardstown; nine grandchildren: Hilary Fox and husband, Jon of Greensburg, Austin Hahn and wife, Courtney, Kimberly Breeding, Katlin Johnson all of Bardstown, Lyndsey Shuffett and husband, Ryan, Travis McCubbins and wife, Kacey all of Greensburg, Brooklyn Begley of Campbellsville, Nicholas Johnson and Mitchell Johnson both of Alabama; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers: Roy Suratt of Greensburg, and Granville Suratt of Smith Grove; a sister: Joyce Nunn of Indiana; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Suratt was also preceded in death by a sister: Margaret Dudley.

Honoring wishes, cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be conducted from 4-8 Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Kosair Charities, which can be made at the funeral home.
