Kenneth Corbin, 88, Columbia, KY native (1934-2022)

Kenneth Corbin, formerly of Ramsey, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. He was 88 years old.

Visitation for Kenneth will start at 11amET on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 IN-64 NW, Ramsey, IN. Masonic funeral rites will be held prior to the funeral service, at 6pmET, with funeral service to follow at 6:30pmET.

Burial will take place at 11amCT/NoonET on Friday, December 30, 2022, in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1305 Liberty Rd., Columbia, KY.


Kenneth Corbin was born to Mr. Paul Wesley Corbin and Sallie Jane Crawhorn Corbin in Columbia Ky., on July 26, 1934.

Kenneth married Mary Jean Brockman, and they had a family of three children, Joyce, Anthony "Tony", and Tammie. He was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church, a Mason with Shively-Lewis-Parkland Lodge #951,

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Jean Corbin; daughter, Joyce and son, Tony Corbin.

Kenneth was a loving and very proud husband, father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his life and memory are his daughter, Tammie Brettschneider (Bill); daughter-in-law, Kathy Corbin; grandchildren, Jacqueline and Erika Corbin, and Olivia and Josh Brettschneider, his brother, Bobby Corbin of Columbia.
