CAUD preparedness tips for freezing weather From Mrs. Ashley Bennett Columbia Adair Utilities District Columbia Adair Utilities District would like to ask all of their customers that due to the forecast of extremely cold temperatures, to please make sure their water meter lids are securely placed on top of their meter boxes if you are able to. This will help prevent the meters from freezing. Also, if your water has a tendency to freeze, you might want to leave it dripping a small amount. Also, please make sure water hose is disconnected from the spigot. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call our office at 270-384-2181 or our after-hours number 270-634-3285.
