Lois Ann Wilkerson, 69, Windsor, KY (1953-2022)

Lois Ann DeHart Wilkerson of Windsor passed from this life on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at her home. She was 69 years old.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmCT on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with her nephews, Brother Alan Roberts and Brother Mark Yaden officiating. Lois will be laid to rest in Bowmer Cemetery in Windsor.

The family will receive friends from 6pmCT to 9pmCT on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home.


Lois was born at home, on September 15, 1953, in Dunnville, a daughter of the late Brother Clifford and Nellie Lee DeHart. Lois was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Community Church. Lois and her husband, Paul, formerly owned and operated Wilkerson's Grocery, in the Phil Community of Casey County. She was also a retired supervisor for Bruss North America, Inc. in Russell Springs. Lois loved the Lord and her family dearly, and never met a stranger. She was a "mother" to everyone, and most of all, Lois's grandbabies were her life.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Wilkerson, of Windsor; one son, Jeremy Paul (and Ashley) Wilkerson of Windsor; and five grandchildren, Hagen Wilkerson, Braiden Wilkerson, Conway Wilkerson, Ava Wilkerson, and Jade Lay. Lois is also survived by one brother, Ronald (and Sherrie) DeHart of Russell Springs; two sisters, Nancy (and Leland) Stevenson of Nancy, and Pam Smith of Dunnville; and a sister-in-law, Brenda DeHart.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by one son, Paul T. Wilkerson, Jr.; and one brother, Glen DeHart.

Hagen Wilkerson, Gage Roberts, Stacie Wilkerson, Mark Rathbun, Ronnie DeHart, and Billy DeHart will serve as pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Wilkerson and Braiden Wilkerson.
