Danny Roy Robertson, 75, Russell Springs, KY (1947-2022) Danny Roy Robertson of Russell Springs passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation in Jamestown. He was 75 years old. Per Danny's wishes, cremation rites were honored. There will be a private family memorial service held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Fairview Separate Baptist Church. Inurnment will take place at Mill Springs National Cemetery at a later date. Born on July 13, 1947, in Somerset, he was a son of the late Arvel and Ruth Foley Robertson. Danny was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Russell Springs United Methodist Church. Danny was a retired electrician, having worked at Fruit of the Loom for 20 years and later being self-employed. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Bennett Robertson, of Russell Springs; two sons, Jamie (and Terani) Robertson, and Kelly (and Megan) Robertson, both of Jamestown; one daughter, Lori (and Darrell) Loy of Jamestown; one sister, Ann (Kenneth) Blakey of Russell Springs; and nine grandchildren, Alexa (and Martin) Cross, Addison (and Zack) Owens, Abby Loy, Owen Loy, Ella (and Blake) Mann, Emery Kate Robertson, Olivia Robertson, Anna James Robertson, and Ezra Robertson. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by one brother, Van Robertson. The family requests that donations of sympathy be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
