Betty Farmer, 82, Adair Co., KY native (1939-2022) Betty Lou (Bailey) Farmer of Elkhorn passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was 82 years old. The funeral will be held at 11amET on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Auberry Funeral Home, 503 East Main St., Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. Betty Lou Farmer, daughter of the late Byrd Bailey and Berthie Hovious Bailey, was born December 27, 1939, in Adair County. She professed her faith in Christ and attended Knifley Christian Church. She was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Betty loved to spend time gardening and really enjoyed her flowers. She was united in marriage to Haskel Farmer, Sr. on December 19, 1955, and he preceded her in death on March 3rd, 2013. She is survived by three sons: Greg Farmer and fiance, Mary Cox of Elkhorn; Michael Keith Farmer and wife, Debbie, of Shepherdsville; and Haskle Farmer, Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Shepherdsville. Six grandchildren: Hailey Farmer of Elkhorn, Tammy Burden and husband, Jason, Tina Miller, Melinda Cissel, Melissa Hudson, and Clint Farmer, all of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Five great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by: One grandson: Michael Lee Farmer. Three bothers and three sisters: Marshall Bailey, Charles Rusty Bailey, Billy Bailey, Dorothy Beard, Mary Lee Callahan and Christine Mann. Pallbearers: Johnny Burress, Justin Cox, Wayne Parsley, John Peckinpaugh, Alan Cheshire, and Jason Burden. Auberry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
