LWC music ensembles at CUMC tonight

From Gerald Chafin

Lindsey Wilson College music ensembles will present A Festive Christmas Celebration At 6pmCT this evening, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Columbia United Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville Street, Columbia. The entire community is invited to join in the celebration shared by student ensembles.

Groups featured include both instrumental and choral ensembles.

Instrumental performances will be shared by the LWC Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and the combined Wind Ensemble. All these groups will play familiar Christmas tunes to make "your spirit bright" for the Christmas season as well as lead you in a Christmas carol sing-along. Anthony Baird is the LWC instrumental director.

Choral performances will be shared by groups from within the LWC Singers, the College's touring ensemble. The LWC Singers presented seven concerts regionally this semester and will tour the Pacific Northwest in the spring. This evening the ensemble presents their epic tale of outlandish proportions when something goes awry with everything mentioned in the 12 Days of Christmas song!

LIndsey Wilson College welcomes you to share in this evening's A Festive Christmas Celebration at 6pmCT at Columbia United Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville Street in Columbia!
