Eva Pauline Mardis Graves, 88, Taylor Co., KY (1934-2022) Eva Pauline Mardis Graves departed this life December 5, 2022. She was 88 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Kent Ashley and Rev. Bill Sanders. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. She was born September 2, 1934 to the late Owen Mardis and the late Ola Phillips Mardis. She united in marriage to the late Frank Ingram Graves on September 27, 1962. She had put her faith in Jesus Christ and was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church in the Bengal Community of Taylor County. She was very active with some of her activities over the years being a Sunday School teacher, Christmas Program leader, Women's Missionary Union member, on the Hospitality Committee helping with church fellowship meals, coordinating Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and preparing VBS refreshments that included her beloved Kool Aid slush many years. She was also preceded in death by four brothers: James Mardis, Albert Mardis, William "Bill" Mardis and Norman Mardis. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Marsha and Allen Wood and Anne and Bill Sanders of Campbellsville, Kentucky and Kristi and Kenny Dillingham of New Mexico; two grandchildren: Jessica Honea of Bardstown, Kentucky and Jordan (Heather) Sanders of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; eight great-grandchildren: Scott Hall, Blaze Honea, Zach Honea, Noah Durham, Khynleigh Cobb, Arianna Sanders, Olivia Sanders and Camryn Sanders. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles or Hosparus of Green River and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
