Peggy McCubbin Strawder, 74, Campbellsville, KY (1947-2022) Peggy McCubbin Strawder of Campbellsville passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022. She was 74 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Rudy Stacy. Burial will follow in Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 10amET until 1pmET on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Peggy McCubbin Strawder, daughter of the late James McCubbin and Geneva Williams McCubbin, was born October 25, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple. Peggy was a hard worker with a caring heart. She was a nurse for many years, ran a mini-home, fostered medically fragile kids and always had an open door for anyone who needed it. She loved her family fiercely and was a Mawmaw to many. She united in marriage to Jack Strawder January 26, 1990. Peggy is survived by her husband, Jack Strawder of Campbellsville; two daughters: Mary Jo Green and husband, Archie and Brooklyn Strawder of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Zac Green and fiance, Lora of Magnolia and Gage Green of Port Orange, Florida; one great-grandson, Waylynn Green; three brothers and one sister: Randy McCubbin and wife, Janet of Campbellsville, Donna Harlow of Mt. Washington, John McCubbin and wife, Nancy of Indianapolis, Indiana and Greg McCubbin and wife, Debbie of Vera Beach , Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to the funeral expense and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
