Doris Ann Hopkins, 86, Greensburg, KY (1936-2022) Doris Ann Hopkins of Greensburg passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was 86 years old. The funeral services for Doris Ann Hopkins will be conduced at 1pmCT on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Elijah Coffey and Bro. Roger Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 10amCT on Monday until time of the service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Doris Ann Hopkins, daughter of the late John Hugh Hopkins and Madalene Loveall Hopkins, was born on Saturday, June 20, 1936 in Green County. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church. She was a self-employed Hairdresser since 1962. Survivors include a sister: Nancy Hopkins of Greensburg; special cousins: Shirley Coffey, Bill Coffey, and Elijah Coffey all of Campbellsville, Lisa Riney of Lexington, and Layden Coffey of Columbia. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Riverside Baptist Church Fund or the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund and can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Tommy Judd, Layden Coffey, Eddie Paxton, Terry Paxton, James Luther Paxton, Gary Patterson, Phillip Nunn Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Powell and Charles Seaborne Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
