Ernestine Adair, 90, Columbia, KY (1931-2022) Ernestine (Loy) Adair of Columbia passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was 90 years old. A funeral mass will be held at 1:30pmCT on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1217 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. Father Pat Dolin will be celebrating the funeral mass. Burial will follow in the Loy Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 10amET until 1pmET at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born on October 25, 1931, to the late William Clyde and Pearl Samuels Loy. Mrs. Adair was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Ronald George Adair of Columbia, KY; three children Donna Jean Liss of Santa Barbara, CA, Ronald L. Adair (Mary) of Columbia, KY, and Robert G. Adair (Kathy) of Brandenburg, KY; Grandchildren Kenny Adair (Beth), Jillian Dirking (Josh), Catherine Gagen (Paul), Clyde Lowe, Robyn Brennan (Shawn), Amy Adair, and Dana Coppage (Tyler); eight siblings Antha Belle Babica and Louise Dusk both of Bridgeview, IL, Norma Sue Wilson of Greenfield, MO, Evelyn Dillingham of Columbia, KY, Jerry Loy of Columbia, KY, Sammy Loy of Jamestown, KY, Terry Loy Mokena, IL, and Douglas Loy of Campbellsville, KY and several nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Wayne Adair and five siblings Robert Loy, Lionel Loy, Morris "Red" Loy, Eros Loy, and Darlene Loy.
