Larry Michael Lemons, 73, Green Co., KY (1949-2022)

Larry Michael Lemons passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. He was 73 years old.

The funeral services for Larry Michael Lemons will be conducted at 11amCT on Friday, October 14, 2022, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Bob Cutler officiating. Burial will follow in the Lemons Bend Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 3pmCT until 7pmCT on Thursday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and will continue after 7amCT on Friday until time of the funeral service.


Larry Michael Lemons, son of the late Booker Lemons and Kathleen Cave Lemons, was born on Friday, February 18, 1949 in Jefferson County.

He was a retired Sheet Metal worker for Union Local #110 after 30 plus years and was also an avid farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Survived by his wife of 42 years, Rachel Henderson Lemons having united in marriage on August 22, 1980.

Other survivors include three daughters and son-in-law: Tammy Lemons of Louisville, Cindy and Ricky Darrell Osborne, Delisa Patterson and her significant other Steve Wood all of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Travis, Nicholas, Austin, Ashley, Mariah, Zach, Levi and his wife Hannah, Isaac and his significant other Gabby; four great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: Charles and Debbie Lemons of Columbia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kelli Lemons who passed away in 2017.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Lemons Bend Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
