Winds signal a chance of afternoon storms The National Weather Service in Louisville issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook this morning for an area in South Central Kentucky that includes Adair and surrounding counties. A few thunderstorms this afternoon and evening could become strong to severe, with locally damaging winds as the main threat. A brief tornado cannot be ruled out, and small to marginally severe hail will be possible in the strongest storms. Outside of thunderstorms, winds will gust to around 30 mph today, especially this afternoon. This story was posted on 2022-10-12 15:23:09
