Willis T. Alexander, 89, Green Co., KY (1933-2022) Willis Town Alexander of the Gabe Community of Green County passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was 89 years old. Graveside services for Willis T. Alexander will be conducted at 4pmCT on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Aetna Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Greg Whitlow officiating. Willis Alexander was born on Wednesday, June 14, 1933 in Madisonville, Kentucky. He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a retired military Korean War and Vietnam War Veteran having served in the United States Army and also in the United States Marine Corp. for 24 years. Mr. Alexander also worked for the U.S. Postal Service. Survived by his wife: Lula "Tootie" Whitlow Alexander of the Gabe Community having united in marriage on April 27, 2013. Other survivors include his children: Debbie and Tom Covington, Steven Alexander all of Florida, Renee Alexander of Colorado, Scott Alexander of Massachusetts, Tonya and Steve Shofner, and Greg and Denise Whitlow all of Green County; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-children; a brother: Timmy Alexander; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two daughters and a son: Cheryl Ann Alexander, Rhonda Alexander, and David Alexander. Pallbearers: Morris Whitlow, Mitchell Moss, Steve Shofner, Jacob Shofner, Jonathan Whitlow, Josh Whitlow Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
