Soccer: LWC JV Women drop heartbreaker to CU At Walter S. Reuling Stadium, a last-second goal by the visiting Tigers of Campbellsville University proved to be the difference in a 1-0 decision against the Lindsey Wilson junior varsity women's soccer team on Monday evening. In what was an otherwise hard-fought contest between both sides, the Blue Raiders held the slim lead in overall chances, and even produced a point-blank opportunity from Abby Sheffer in the closing minutes that was ultimately turned aside by the visiting netminder. The locals will finish out their 2022 schedule with three straight home matches, beginning at 2pmCT on Sunday, October 2 against Thomas More University. This story was posted on 2022-09-27 10:40:46
