Haskel Mann, 81, carpenter

Services will be held at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 2 p.m. for Haskel Mann.

He passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at 8:40 a.m., Central, at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.


He was the son of the late Walter and Sallie Grider Mann of Russell County.

He is survived by his wife Stella Mae Polston Mann of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Linda Parnell and her husband Carlos of Columbia; Brenda Bennett and her husband Winston of Columbia; and Pat Conover and her husband Larry of Columbia
  • One brother: Paul Mann of Columbia
  • One sister: Dakota Coffey of Salem, OH
  • Three grandchildren: Dana Holmes, Tracy Bennett and Josh Conover
  • Two great grandchildren, Tasha and Brandon Holmes.
Mr. Mann was a member of the Columbia Church of God and a self employed carpenter.

Clergy officiating will be Rev. Gene Conover.

Interment will be in the Columbia Cemetery.

The family requests visitation after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
