Donald Johnson, 80, Russell Springs, KY (1942-2022) Donald Johnson of Russell Springs passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at his residence. He was 80 years old. Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Andy Robertson, Bro. Tony Tarter, and Bro. Myles Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery, Highway 910, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be held at 10amCT on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Donald was born on Sunday, January 4, 1942, in Russell Springs, Kentucky. He was the son of the late William "Red" Orvis Johnson and Orpah McGowan Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Freda Wilson Johnson of Russell Springs, KY, a sister in law, Linda Johnson of Russell Springs, and brother in law, Phillip Brown of Russell Springs and a host of family and friends. He was a retired employee of General Electric and a Veteran of the United States Army and a child of God. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Delna Johnson, Euldeen Brown, Ronald William Johnson and his nephew Craig Johnson Pallbearers were: Todd Wilson, Tony Wilson, Rollin Wayne McFarland, Matt McFarland, J.J.
