Two treated at Casey County Hospital following collision A two-car accident on KY 70 in Casey County, Monday, September 26, 2005, at 10:52 a.m., resulted in injuries to both drivers. Melinda Whitt, 35, Yosemite, KY, was operating a 1993 Nissan Sentra, eastbound on KY 70. According to the police report, she lost control in a curve, and struck a westbound 2000 Dodge Stratus driven by Alford Watson, 69, of Ohio. Melinda Whitt, who was not belted, was taken to Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY, for treatment. Alford Watson who was belted, was treated and released at Casey County Hospital. Trooper K. Wilson of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
