Fishing with a Veteran 2022 Friends of Green River Lake and the US Army Corps of Engineers are hosting Fishing with a Veteran 2022 on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Holmes Bend Boat Ramp/Picnic Shelter, 5380 Holmes Bend Rd, Columbia, KY. Boat drivers and veterans will pair off between 7:30amCT and 8amCT. All Veterans are encouraged to come out and enjoy a morning of fishing provided by great volunteers and partners at Green River Lake. Lunch will be provided back at the Holmes Bend Picnic Shelter between NoonCT and 1pmCT. Pre-registration is required before Saturday, October 1, 2022, and volunteer fishermen and boat drivers are needed too.
