Janis Fox, 90, Casey County, KY (1932-2022) Janis Fox, a proud lifelong resident of Dunnville, Kentucky, was welcomed home by Jesus on August 23, 2022. Life for Janis, or "Nano" as she was affectionately known, revolved around her love of her family. Supporting the Casey Rebels, UK Basketball, Sunday morning church services, the family farm, Lake Cumberland, truck pulls and softball games, whatever they loved, she loved. For decades Janis' smile and kind words welcomed Lake Cumberland's many travelers as they made their way through her turnstile in Russell Springs along the Cumberland Parkway. Born June 9, 1932, in Casey County, at 90 years of age, she has finally joined her husband Charlie in heaven, who passed away in 1985, her parents, Jason and Cordelia Roberts, and her siblings Helena, Miles and Phyllis. She is survived in death by the very people she was most proud of, her son Steve, her grandsons Jason and Charlie and their wives, Laura, Emily and Natalie and her great grandchildren, Stella, Vivian, Stanley, Boone T., and Clara Rose. As a dedicated member of Dunnville Christian Church, she was a servant and support system for the staff of her church. A constant to her fellow church members and neighbors and the many, many children who climbed into her lap during Sunday services. Visitation for Janis will be held at Dunnville Christian Church on Friday, August 26th from 11am - 2pm with services beginning at 2pm and burial to follow at the Thomastown cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason and Charlie Fox, Pat, Kyle, and Derick Terry, and Matt Loper. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dunnville Christian Church, PO Box 149, Dunnville, KY 42528. McKinney-Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. This story was posted on 2022-08-25 20:58:59
