Rex Allen Harrison, 71, Taylor County, KY Rex Allen Harrison of Campbellsville passed from this life on Friday, August 12, 2022 in Danville at the Select Specialty Hospital. He was 71 years of age. He was a retired carpenter from Building Concepts, Inc. and Gabehart Lumber, and was of the Christian faith. He was the son of the late Wilford and Miriam Evelyn (Smith) Harrison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Demesia Harrison, and a sister, Patsy Vandivier. Survivors include his children: Charisse LaBoyteaux and husband Terry, and Benjamin Harrison and companion Bethany Anderson; four siblings: Shirley Carew of Florida, and Steve Harrison and wife Bonnie, Jimmy Harrison, and Carol Sheckles, all of Indiana; eight grandchildren: Ayden, Zane, Creed, Callie, Tanner, Sydney, Olivia and Penelope; a great-grandchild: Alistair; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service for Rex Allen Harrison will be Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 1pmET in the Campbellsville Chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10amET on Saturday until time for the service. L.R.
