Haskel Murphy Sr., 98, Casey County, KY (1924-2022) Haskel Murphy Sr., age 98, of Liberty, KY passed away on Wednesday August 17th, 2022, at the Casey County Hospital. He was born June 17th, 1924, in Liberty, KY, a son of the late Matthew Green Murphy and Dora Matherly Murphy. Haskel was a business owner where he owned Haskel Murphy's Garage, he was a farmer and a John Deere Dealer. Haskel was the widower of Ruby Evelyn Bryant Murphy who passed away on January 18th, 1988. Survivors include: Two Sons: Haskel Murphy Jr. and Russell Gary and (Connie) Murphy both of Liberty, Six Grandchildren: Becky Shepard, Tracy Fair, Brian Evans, Allan Murphy, Dallon Murphy, and Rachel Harris, Ten Great Grandchldren and Two Sisters: Emma Jean Green of Cincinnati, OH and Doris Murphy Brown of Mission Viejo, CA. Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was Two Daughters: Shirley Ann Evans and Barbara Faye Lanham, Three Brothers: M.G., Ernest and Robert Murphy, One Sister: Christine Pratt and Family Friend: Carol Ruth Dick. Funeral Services will be held 2pmET Saturday August 20th, 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Dwight Coffman officiating. Burial will be in the Murphy Cemetery.
