2022 Branstetter Park Music Festival & Homecoming The 96th Annual Branstetter Park Music Festival & Homecoming will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, starting at 10amCT, and Sunday, August 28, 2022, starting at 10amCT, at Branstetter Park, located at 396 Branstetter Park-Old Trace Road, Summer Shade, KY, near the intersection of Hwy. 90 and Hwy. 163. Admission is free, and shade tree pickers are welcome. Bring your lawnchair. Saturday music acts will include Jared Shaw & Friends, Hornets Nest Pickers, and Arthur Hatfield & Buck Creek. Sunday will include a welcome from Harold Stilts, Memorial by Terry Hurt, Memorial Song "The Last Mile of the Way," a devotional by Bro. Paul Conrad, a Message by Bro. Josh Grider, and special singing by The Parnell Family. Childrens games will begin at 1pmCT on Saturday, and will include: Diaper Derby (up to walking), Ball Toss (1-3 yrs.), Stick Horse Race (3-5 yrs./bring your stick), Tricycle Races (2-6 yrs.), Bicycle Races (6-8 yrs., 9-13yrs.,14up), Sack Races * Sponge Relay, 3-Legged Race, Minute to Win It!, Biggest Bubble Contest, Water Balloon Throw, Hula Hoop, Tug of War, Traditional Arts & Crafts, and a Hidden Shoe Relay.
