Phillip Coffey - Time Spent TIME SPENT - By Phillip Coffey Cicadas taking up a lot of harmonious singing, no gripes among them I hear. No need of complaining about all the temporal hardships, time here soon spent. Herd up all of the harvest of rejoicing ages before it begins to be turning white. Listen to the cagey elders among us - they will up and tell you - 'life is just too short.' No time should be wasted on anything - lent to us for such a short season. Not necessary to list all your faults among the neighborhood - may not be entertaining. Everyone has slipped from the narrowed pathway that's straight - give them a lift, or maybe a ride While they meticulously make the necessary adjustments with Christ to get back in stride.
