Two photos with this story
Constitution Day is today, Saturday, September 17, 2005.

It was done up in style at Adair County Middle School on Friday, the day most K-12s and colleges across America observed the day.

Congress has mandated that it be observed in all schools, K-12 through college, which receive any Federal Funds. For the day, Principal Donald McKinney dressed up in a head-to-toe George Washington outfit.

Sandra Wilson, activities director, wore a Statue of Liberty outfit.

And Gary Curry, history teacher was very impressive as Abraham Lincoln.

The three visited classrooms at Adair Middle School and other points around and the district's central office to the delight of all who saw them.
