Chester Voils, III, 29, Russell Springs, KY (1993-2022) Chester Voils, III, of Russell Springs, known by all as "Chedder" and by his aunt as "Mario", passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. He was 29 years old. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Interment will follow in Voils Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 11amCT on Thursday, until time for funeral services. Chedder was born in Somerset on May 30, 1993, son of Chester Voils, Jr. and Amanda Grimes Whittle. He was a kind-hearted young man who will be remembered for his big smile and personality. No one could be sad around Chedder; he always had a funny story to tell. He was an animal lover. Chedder was a loving son to his father, Chester Voils, Jr., and had missed him deeply since his passing in September of 2021. He was a devoted father to his son, Colbie. Any one who knew and loved Chedder would say his was a light dimmed too soon. He is survived by his son, Colbie Bunch, of Somerset; his mother, Amanda Whittle, of Russell Springs; the love of his life, Sarah Hunter, of Russell Springs; his brother, Josh (and Shelby) Voils, of Russell Springs; his sister, Kaysie Voils, of Russell Springs; his uncles, Tommy (and Melissa) Voils and Ralph Grimes, Jr., both of Russell Springs; his aunts, Eva Jessee, of Russell Springs, Crystal (and Bryan) Stilts, of Greensburg, and Crystal (and Mark) Rexroat, of Russell Springs; and his two beloved dogs, Tucker and Dakota. Chedder is preceded in death by his father, Chester "Chedder" Voils, Jr., who he loved tremendously, with all his heart. Active pallbearers are Josh Voils, Tommy Voils, Colbie Bunch, Ralph Grimes, Jr., Bryan Stilts, Ralph Grimes, III, Jacob Grimes and Mason Miniard. Honorary pallbearers are Preston Sneed, Dylan Leach, Dustin Stephens, Matt Ginn and Danny Carrender. Arrangements for Chester "Chedder" Voils, III are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home.
