Patty Jo Hammond, 52, Russell County, KY (1969-2022) Patty Jo Hammond, 52, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Russell County Hospital. She was born in Albany, KY on November 2, 1969, a daughter of the late Reba (Garner) and Samuel Ray Hammond. She was a former factory worker at Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems. Patty is survived by companion, Kevin Taylor, of Russell Springs, KY; a daughter, Lexi Taylor, of Russell Springs, KY; four sisters, Shirley Popplewell, of Russell Springs, KY; Chestelene Popplewell, of Jamestown, KY; Sherry Lawless, of Jamestown, KY; Peggy Begley, of Columbia, KY; six brothers, Ralph Hammond, of Jamestown, KY; Randall Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY; Terry Hammond, of Sellersburg, IN; Bobby Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY; Floyd Hammond, of Jamestown, KY; David Hammond, of Russell Springs, KY. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Donnie, Ray Jr., Michael, and James Hammond and a sister Barbara Hammond. Funeral Service will be held 12noon on Monday, July 25th at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Friends may visit 9-12noon on Monday, July 25, at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY. Pallbearers: Brently Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Robert Coppage, Greg Popplewell, Josh Hammond, and Jody Hammond. Interment at Dixon Cemetery Jamestown, KY.
